Psychological Evaluations & Diagnosis

As an adjunct professor and supervisor in teaching psychological testing and diagnosis, Dr. Jean has extensive experience administering psychological assessments for children, adolescents and adults for learning disabilities, cognitive and psychological disorders, as well as personality disorders. Included, but not limited to, in her diagnostic services are:

• Attention Deficit or Hyperactivity Disorder
• Risk of violence in adults or adolescents
• Mental status examination
• Children’s cognitive/intelligence assessment
• Comprehensive Personality-psychopathology assessment
• Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
• Competence to stand trial evaluation
• Substance abuse evaluation

Of special interest to our assessment services is working with international clients as they face challenges of court, immigration, and academic testing requirements. Clients feel more confident working with Dr. Jean, as she understands the bias embedded in Western testing benchmarks and results, how to navigate them, and the sensitivity in interpretation.
